The new trends in the field of advanced Water Sewage Treatment respond to the necessity of re-using the water as well as optimizing the construction and operation costs. In order to do so, it is essential the using of computing tools based on Mathematical models, through simulation, which help to optimize their design and operation.
Aim
It is the main achievement of this course to raise the brand new system of sewage water treatment design through the use of Mathematical Modeling, (Activated Sludge Model No.1, which implements the elimination of organic matter and nitrogen), in a technical and a noticeable practical way. So, the student will be qualified to learn how to diagnose the state of the process, to detect their limitations and explore the ideal strategies of operation in a great variety of settings.
In order to do so, a demo will be held for each student, which contains the Software Commercial WEST® used to handle the already mentioned model.
Who should ENROL ?
Professionals in the field of operation as well as in the design of sewage water treatment plants.
Chemical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Industrialists, Technical Engineers, Technical Industrialist Engineers, Environmental Sciences Graduates and other related qualifications, as well as those students who are in the last academic year of their graduations.
