The scarcity of traditional water resources and increasing demand for them have come to consider seawater as an unlimited resource, using desalination as a mean to get new resources of fresh water in reliable and competitive conditions.
Aim
This course is intended to address the reverse osmosis desalination system in an eminently practical way, approaching general concepts allowing students to configure Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
Students will be trained to use free soft tools for design RO Racks. Starting from the raw water conditions, and knowing the requirements of treated water, the delegates will be able to design a RO system by themselves.
The student will develop a practical exercise under the supervision of the course’s tutor.
Who should ENROL ?
Professionals in the field of design and operation of water desalination plants.
Chemical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Technical Engineers, Environmental Sciences Graduates and other related qualifications, as well as those students who are in the last academic year of their carreers.
